Manisan Belimbing Wuluh


Alkisah pohon belimbing wuluh milik tetangga berbuah lebat. Beliau dengan baik hatinya mempersilakan siapapun memetik sepuasnya. Saya ikutan ngambil, walau belum tau mau dibuat apa. Petik dahulu, google kemudian. Dua menit gugling langsung naksir resep manisan belimbing wuluh di blog Just Try and Taste andalan kita semua. Gampang nggak pake nyalain kompor. Yuklah bikin!

Manisan Belimbing Wuluh

Bahan:
1 kg belimbing wuluh
1-2 sdm garam
300-400 g gula pasir

Cara membuat:
Cuci bersih belimbing wuluh, buang pangkalnya, belah membujur menjadi 4 bagian. Buang biji yang kehitaman. Tempatkan di baskom plastik, beri garam, aduk rata. Diamkan 2 jam.
Cuci bersih agar garamnya hilang, gunakan air matang pada bilasan terakhir. Beri gula pasir, aduk rata. Diamkan selama 4 jam, aduk sesekali. Buah akan mengeluarkan air. Simpan di toples kaca di kulkas. Sebelum disajikan, encerkan dengan air dingin dan tambahkan es batu bila suka.
