perfectly-chocolate cake with strawberries

it's a Hershey's 'perfectly chocolate' chocolate cake, and at first I was not so sure about it. firstly I baked the cake, tasted a few crumbs, and I thought, "um.. okay". then I whipped the frosting, tasted it, and I thought it was a little too sweet but not bad. and then I assembled them all, decorated, took photos, and when it was time to cut the cake I tasted it again and then I go "wowthisissooogood!" :D yes, it was moist, very dense and rich, perfectly chocolate... so the title is perfectly match after all.

layered birthday cookies

imagine: two oversize chocolate cookies, stacked up with layers of chocolate-cream cheese frosting, and as if those weren't enough, sprinkled with chocolate chips and colorful chocolate candies. you've really gotta try this ;)

a very-very late x-mas post

hello there! it's been so long since I last posted something here, how are you? :) I know I should have posted this like a month ago, but anyway - as you've already read it on the title above, this was the chocolate I made as x-mas greeting card. an edible greeting card! yum!

I also made these mini chocolate cookies with x-mas theme - they're not actually mini but the original version is oversize (I'll post that later) so these are the mini version.

it's chocolate yet cappuccino, and surprise - a hint of orange! what a combination, chocolate and orange.. I sure will create more.

can you see that the parcel has a gift-box shape with ribbons at top? so it's a gift box contains lots of hearts :)

sacher torte with oranges! fruity!

this is for my dear friend's birthday. he requested a chocolate cake with some fruity taste, so I suggested sacher torte which has apricot filling, cover the cake with not-so-dense ganache (combination of chocolate and cream) and topped that with oranges. happy orange birthday!
